I think they are incredibly uncomfortable and make knees look so funny although I did wear them quite a bit "back in the day!" :lol I had no idea they were back in style. No way!

I will NOT wear stirrup pants. Couldn’t the first time around and WON’T this time. Also refuse to wear body suits. I am not a baby I don’t need snaps at my crotch thank you very much. But again didn’t wear them the first time either. Odd perks of being a tall girl in the 80s?

:lol I desperately wanted stir up pants when I was a teen! I think I finally got one pair as a hand me down and I was so pleased and wore them around thinking I was hot stuff! :lol:lol:lol

I tell ya! I honestly never realized until an adult how absolutely uncreative the fashion industry really was. They don't even pretend to create new things for the most part! It's just recycling old stuff back in and earn a bunch of new money on an old idea. :-/

I LOVED my stirrup pants!! I have quite long legs and my mom always managed to buy me jeans that shrunk into highwaters within a few weeks. I was basically mortified all the time!

Stirrup pants saved me!!!!!:giggle:lol

I am tall and hated how my pants were high waters, too! Best thing that the fashion industry did was start to offer women's pants in various lengths rather than, "oh, if this is your waist/hip size, then you get this inseam and this inseam ONLY." I think the first place I ever found pants that came in short, medium, and long was Target in the mid 1990s. I felt like singing when I purchased my first pair of long jeans. I'm not even long-legged for my height.

I am because that means I only need to roll up the bottom a couple of times. I am short and have short leggs. I can wear pants sold as capris that end up being just above my ankle.

I am 5'2". I am incredibly short-waisted so have long legs, but I normally buy average length jeans, but lately have bought long so they are long enough. I can't stand the shorter length of jeans right now. I think the high water length makes me look even shorter.

I liked them. But I never knew anything about fashion. I just liked them when I was a little kid because they stayed in place. :lol As an adult, I'll pass. :lol
