United Pentecostal Church International
The United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) is the largest Oneness Pentecostal denomination in the United States.
They have nearly 4200 churches in North America. They are located in over 170 nations. They were formed in 1945 by the
merger of two smaller Oneness Pentecostal denominations.
Among the doctrinal distinctives of the UPCI are oneness theolgy,
a theolgy similar to Holiness Pentecostal doctrine with the exception of the Trinitarian aspects (ie. no trinity, no second work of grace, and
"Jesus Name" only Batpism).
The UPCI is often accused of legalism for their adherance to what they call the Holiness Standards.
