I just ruined DHs brand new sweater

You could take it to the cleaners and have it "blocked out" to a bigger size. They can do that, and at least it would fit you

I did that to dh's favourite merano wool sweater last week. I was in too much of a hurry and quickly put 2 piles of clothes on the floor together for one load...forgetting a the moment why that sweater was in a different pile.

I stretched dh's enough with conditioner to wear it during my pregnancies. then it became awesome woolies.
Dh would look at his old favorite sweater and sigh. i felt so bad but boy was it comfy!
