The link doesn't seem to show amounts in the 2:1 ratio that Allison recommends (she also says 1:1 or 3:1 may be appropriate for some individuals). But if you converted their approximate amounts into the 2:1 ratio, you'd get something like 600/300 or 800/400 for kids age 1-10. Basically half the adult dose.

Perfect! Thanks Sarah for posting that! The cal/mag I buy my kids is like 250/50. I need to fix that.

Subbing... this is such great info! I desperately need something to help my insomnia (which I've struggled with my entire life). I have RLS and frequent headaches as well.

Just curious if anyone knows about bone meal powder (cal/mag/phos)? It was the only thing I could find at the HFS that had phos in it... and I read somewhere about phos in trying to heal DS2's tooth decay. I'm taking it, but I haven't given it to him yet!

That sounds genius. Liker bone broth in super-concentrated form! When I make broth I try to scrape out as much bone as I can and I put it in popsicles and smoothies etc - you could do that too!

I hope it's an ok form to take... it makes the OJ taste funny, but it says you can bake with it... It doesn't dissolve too easily, but I may try it in other things. I think I will switch to a pill form when it's done, though. I don't think it has enough Mag... my legs have been achy since I started taking it ! I will have to revisit the thread for the correct amounts of each that I need!
