Empathy- handling the fussing and the fits
Practice accepting and directly expressing your feelings. Use this statement: "I feel ___" complete the sentence with a feeling word. Catch yourself saying, "I shouldnt feel ___" and replace it with "I feel _____and its okay." |

This is harder for me because I grew up in a family where it was not ok to be angry/frustrated. So, I really resist even admitting to being angry. I've gotten better after much practice with DH. I hope to teach DD that her feelings are all ok...It's how she handles them that matters.
