ginger for car sickness?

i have a 2 year old we takes about 20 min to barf in the car...
anyones used ginger as an anti nausea for kids? i thought i would just put a fresh slice in his juice before a car ride. any thoughts?

I've never tried it on kids, but I used ginger for my morning sickness

just FYI since i started infusing his juice with ginger we have had NO and i repeat- NO car sickness! and we have been driving TONS! i am so thankful!
