Re: What is the Last Dessert that Wow'd *Forget Wow, what can I make??*
This is a day late, but here's my suggestion for next time. It's a restaurant trick: make something ordinary and dress it up. First, defrost the raspberries and put in the blender with sugar and lemon juice to make a coulis. Refrigerate. Meanwhile, have DD make brownies. Also meanwhile, melt some of the chocolate (sweetened as needed) and pour in a thin layer on a cookie sheet; chill until set. While the brownies are baking, make a sugar syrup and add peanut butter to make peanut butter topping; keep warm. Also whip the cream.
Put some cold berry coulis on a plate. Put a brownie on top. Drizzle with warm peanut butter topping. Break or cut a piece of the chocolate sheet and lay on top. Dollop with whipped cream and serve.
