ISO: Lentil recipes--non-spicy, nightshade-free

I want to use lentils as part of the main meal in the next week or so. All of my recipes are spicy and/or contain nightshades.

Does anyone have a main-dish lentil recipe that is not at all spicy and does not contain peppers or tomatoes?

I made a lentil pot pie when it was last cold. I don't' really have a recipe i just kinda made it up, cooked lentils in chicken broth added potatoes, onions, carrots, peas and any other veggies that sounded good, then put it in a pie crust (I have a savory pie crust that has an egg in it and is not sweet) and baked it. Dh loved it so much I then made it again in to hand pies for him to take to work.

Momma to my 29 weeker Early Bird who is thirteen and my little Wiggle Worm born 33 weeks who is nine. How do I have a teenager?! I don't feel ready for this.
