What else for a cold?
I've been taking elderberry syrup and generic emergenC and also cold capsules.
Sleeping terribly at night. So stuffy and yucky feeling.

Re: What else for a cold?
I often go to sleep with a hot rice bag on my head - better yet if I'm sitting up in the recliner. It helps open up the sinuses and dull the pain so I can get some sleep. Of course the heat doesn't last the night so you'd need to reheat during the night, but it's at least some help.

I like to have pasta with lots of salt, lightly sauteed garlic and red pepper or aleppo pepper when I'm sick.
More water. Then a little more. |

Re: What else for a cold?
We find that a spoonful of olive oil a few times a day speeds the healing process.

Re: What else for a cold?
Humidifier at night helps tremendously! If you don’t have one, run the shower in the bathroom closest to your bedroom on hot with the shower curtain open until hot water runs out right before bed.

Re: What else for a cold?
I remembered Thieves oil yesterday! So now putting that on my feet.
And sleeping all afternoon today was good.
