Default I don't think I like my dyson anymore

It stinks. Like it smells bad. I took it apart and cleaned it the best I could. I followed this site, it is a different model so I couldn't get mind as apart. But it is SO GROSS. It makes my house smell just to vacuum.

So I think I need a new vacuum. I want a rainbow or a kirby, but I can't afford those right now.

So what should I get? I have no idea what would work at all.

We have had Rainbows and Kirbys in past and cant afford right now considered a Dyson but ended up getting this because of good ratings:http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...27-114199269-2 It feels kind of plasticky but holds its suction and has a filter that is easy to clean and a trap door for the dust cup and it smells good! It can be full of stuff and still doesnt stink........

I used to sell rainbows. They are super easy to clean and can be used on wet or dry surfaces without having to switch out parts or worry about anything.

If I had an extra 2K that would be my vac of choice.

Ooo and we have the vac mamacat linked to. It's a good one.

I'll trade you for my little Hoover that has to be unclogged every other use. Meet up somewhere in Missouri to swap?

I grew up with Rainbows. We bought a Hyla- same type of technology. And we LOVE it.

The wet vac option has allowed us to rinse carpets with water after any issues .

**probably cross posted.

Hmm, did you recently suck up something gross? Have you tried vacuuming up some to help deodorize it?

I probably sucked up something gross at some point. I have three little kids. My life is consumed by something gross, poop, random food bits that the three year old hides to save for later, pee, rotting strawberries that just appear in the bottom of toy bins, etc...

I took it apart and cleaned it. It still smells bad.

I ended up getting the hoover that mamacat linked and it works great! No problems.
