It's just because it's the sweetest little name and they just COULDN'T wait to use it on a child! I had a cat named Naiomi. And growing up, I had a dog AND a cousin named Maggie

... I'm jealous that you have such a lovely name, Molly!

I also don't get how so many people can look at a PUPPY and just keep right on walking. Not even crack a smile.

This has happened every time I EVER went anywhere with a puppy

... I am always astonished. Sure, you get a handful who stop to pet (socialize

) with the puppy and turn into a puddle of goo

... but I am always astounded by the number of people who DON'T. And beyond that... the handful who actually scowl or cringe. My mind is always blown
