I don't want to nag, but i am curious to what they would tell you.

I have answers!

1) The neighbor's cat scratched him while he was playing on the porch yesterday. (So thaaaat's what happened

) ... He has a scratched cornea, poor little guy. I have ointment to apply twice a day and other ointment to apply 4 times a day. He is wearing a cone of shame. He has another appointment next week to make sure that it's healing properly, and they said it should heal quickly.

2) I'm not crazy! He WAS growing way too slowly! They did a stool sample and it turned up positive for coccidia. Which is so sad for him, but also good that we caught it and now we can kill it, and he will be healthy!

3) We can tell everyone else

. I told the breeder so she can take care of all her doggies and treat their environment. She's taking everyone she's still got at her house to the vet.

I will take any prayers and healing vibes you have to send my way. Puppy has some mending to do.

I am here, ready to defend my dog-naming choices to the death!

Molly is adjusting to living with our pack quite well... She loves the kids, follows me around the house, adores our old dog (Annie - yes, another people name, but she came with it!), and is appropriately honoring of the 4 cats.

She's eating like a champ - probably about 2-3 times as much as Annie (who's a Australian Cattle mix/mut). She adjusted to our food without a hitch, and is house trained when *I* am paying attention. I, too, am busy fattening her up a bit. Her ribs are starting to feel less boney under hand, etc.

I am *so* happy that afternoonrain gave me a puppy hook-up! I grew up with a Saint (Suzie) and have wanted another for a long, long time. Molly is proving to be just the perfect addition to our family.

I feel the same way. I've been wanting a dog for a few months now, but logically this is not the right time. I told Hubby that i wasn't going to get a dog before my baby potty trained. That way I would have a couple years without having to clean up someone else's poop (theoretically)

My puppy was itching like mad and his fur was looking a little thin, so I brought him in to the vet again.

Oh you guys.

Sooo I have to do a lime/sulfur dip every week for a month.

and it MIGHT not work (please pray that it works

). There was a shot my vet wanted to give that would be for sure effective, but she couldn't because the other vet (my not as preferred vet

) gave him Trifexus, and the shot to kill the mange mixing with the trifexus could give him seizures.

He is such a good little puppy. I just want him to get healthy.
