How do you get all the servings in?
We have a huge issue with repetitive eating and not getting enough fruits/veggies in. My kids are like me and could eat the same thing for every meal and not get bored, but this leads to us eating a rotation of the same, say, 3 meals for lunches every.single.week.
I really want to work on getting more fresh fruits and veggies into our diet but I feel so entrenched in my groove that I don't really know how to go about this. Here is a sample of a daily food diary. Breakfast: 2 eggs, scrambled 1 piece of ww toast with "butter" and preserves Snack: String cheese Lunch: Cheese Quesadillas Beans and sauce Snack: Yogurt Dinner: Chili Grilled cheese I know I can add in some fresh fruit like bananas, apples, oranges at meals, but how do I get in more veggies in a day? |
