need GOOD recipe for pita bread! (beauty4ashes?) *update OP*
my favorite kind of pita bread is the paper thin kind that tears just beautifully - is that about how flat you roll it? I'd take any good recipe tho!
TIA! *UPDATE* The resulting bread from the link provided in this thread is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! And EASY!!!!!!!! Especially if you have a bread machine I will probably never buy pita bread again, ever, that's how good and easy it is. Thank you ladies so much! This will be a family favorite for years to come! About the paper thin bread, that results from three things - 1) skip the second rise, 2) roll it as flat as possible, 3) watch it carefully while it cooks - it goes from flexible to crisp (not bad, just not flexible! ) in about 30 seconds! pita bread!

I have an awesome recipe! I've used the regular recipe and whole wheat recipe; both were really good.

Another for Tammy's pita bread recipe. I will NEVER buy pita bread ever again because this stuff is SO good! And yes I've tried both versions and they're both good. Although the white is softer (of course).
