Messy days
Thurs-sat I can't seem to get my house clean. Sun-weds it's fine. Anyone else have this happen?

Re: Messy days
It's harder for us when DH is home because we're off routine. And Saturday/Sunday there is rarely a cleaning thread, which I use a lot because I like the company.

Re: Messy days
I get the place clean for my brother coming on a Friday, it's usually pretty nice by then. Then saturday it falls apart BIG TIME. Monday I start picking it up and get it okish, but it falls apart again the rest of the week. Big clean Friday and we're back on the cycle. It frustrates me.

Re: Messy days
I get all lazy when DH is around, too. Unfortunately, he has been working less lately than he ever has so . . . yeah, my house isn't looking so great.
I don't have designated "messy days" (except maybe Sat and Sun) but I do have this weird cycle of several days where I'm really motivated, then several when I just don't care, then repeat. |

Re: Messy days
Mine falls apart on Saturdays, when I'm at work and DH is home with kiddos. Then Sundays get worse, because we either lay around or rush to some family gathering.

Re: Messy days
I don't clean on Saturdays because it's the Sabbath. So Sunday is my catch up day and it's usually not completely clean until Monday morning. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it's clean, but by Thursday I'm losing motivation and I know I'll be doing a big pre-Sabbath clean on Friday, so I slack off until Friday afternoon.

Saturdays and Sundays are my cleaning days and cooking days. The rest of the week is a mess.

Re: Messy days
Looks like my house will be messy all week. I'll be lucky to do a load of laundry. I won't be home most of the week.

Re: Messy days
I oftentimes have to work on weekends, writing, and dh hangs out with dd, which means they destroy the house and do no housework.
