Raw Cookbooks?
Can you recommend any raw cookbooks? I'm looking for one that doesn't rely to heavily on nuts & seeds. I saw "Rawsome" in the bookstore & it looked good.

Re: Raw Cookbooks?
My two favourites are Alive in 5 and Raw Food Made Easy for One or Two People. I like them because the recipes are simple and quick. Rawsome is a great book, but if I remember correctly there are lots of recipes that need dehydrating for two or more days, fancy tools, etc. It just wasn't practical for me with a large family.
HTH. PS I can move this to the Veg Recipe Forum, if you'd like. You might get more replies there. |

Re: Raw Cookbooks?
I like the Complete Book of Raw Food (http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Book-...4313525&sr=8-1) basically because I tend toward cookbooks with a lot of recipes. But I also like RAWvolution and Ani's Raw Food Kitchen.
I tend to get most of my recipes online, 'cause I'm cheap .

Re: Raw Cookbooks?
I like the second one Kath mentioned, too. I like it because the recipes don't make so much.
Alissa Cohen has a great book and DVD. The book is huge and has lots of information on people she has help and such.
