Default Instacart with Aldi any experience

Instacart just became available in my area and I am entirely willing to try it especially since I already use Walmart Grocery pick up but I am wondering what kind of experiences people have had with it?

Have you used grocery delivery before?

I opened this thread thinking you meant the cart feature where you put in a quarter to get a cart.

My daughter was going to give us this as a present because she loves it but we do not shop at Aldis often enough to make it worthwhile.

I'm an old pro at that. My kids even know the quarters I keep in my car are NOT to be touched.

I did it once because they gave out a really good coupon and the first delivery was free. It was fine except that many of the product prices were higher. Some things were only 5 or 10 cents more, but others were significantly higher. They also had to use a few of the Aldi bags so that was another cost. It was still a good deal with the coupon, but I wouldn't do it all the time unless I had a significant need.

I've also used it for Costco a couple of times and it worked out well. I also like using their app if I'm looking for a specialty item to see what stores carry it. You can't find out the exact in store price (since they are higher through Instacart) but it gives you a general idea about which store has the best price.
