Food Dehydrator
I got a food dehydrator for Christmas. I'd like to put it to use and store up some food for either emergency or hard times. I've got lots of questions.
1. What foods should I try? 2. Are there any particular foods that just wouldn't work with this method? 3. How long can dried food be stored? 4. How does one store it to keep it good? 5. How would one use the food after it has been dried? 6. I'd also like to make jerky. How long does it store and how do I store it? 7. Fruit is fairly straight forward right? Just dry it and eat it dried. Do any kinds of fruit need anything added to them while drying?
