foster kitten adventure of the day
So, we have two cute foster kittens. The male is full of personality and overly friendly. The female was scared of people and is now getting used to us, but not really friendly. Today, I made a bowl of salad for my lunch and put it on the table while I fixed lunch for my kids. My daughter was supposed to be watching the kittens. I hear a crash and male kitten had gotten on the table and spilled the salad and bowl onto the floor. Luckily the bowl did not shatter - it just cracked. Dd and I picked up all the salad and sunflower seeds from the table, chairs and floor. Kitten disappeared. A short time later, she picks up kitten and tells me he is wet and smells like salad dressing. It seems that the dog decided to clean the salad dressing off of him by licking it off. This boy is a mess. He gets into everything! He is quite fast and purrs loudly and loves people. I am sure he will get adopted quickly and his new owners will enjoy adventures of their own with him.

Re: foster kitten adventure of the day
Thank you. They went back to the SPCA late last week because they weighed enough. They were going to spay and neuter them on Friday I think so they are either up for adoption now or have been adopted perhaps. I am sure they will go quickly - they are so adorable. I miss them.
Now we are pet sitting a dog for my daughter's friend. The dog is sweet, but she pees on the carpet so we have to keep her in the crate a lot - and she is ok with that, but I wish she would not pee on the carpet. Not sure if it is nervousness or marking her territory. Either way, not good.
