Never tried the pressure cooker method, but I have made my own vanilla extract for at least a decade. I love it! And SUPER easy! I can't imagine buying it ever again.

I already have that brand of vodka at home, so I think I'll give it a try!

My aunt arrives from Mexico next week though, so I think I'll get another quart just in case.

What would constitute a good deal for an Instant Pot? The one I have on my wish list (this one) went to $79 today and the regular price is $120.

That's a good deal.

The BEST deal is $69. It was down to $69 on prime day and then again I think Black Friday.... If you're willing to hold out a while you could wait for that price.

But $79 is still very much worth it imo.

I'm seriously considering it. I've been in a cooking rut for a looong time and I think this might be just what I need.

I'd get it now. It's not worth the waiting for $10 off more that happens twice a year.

I bought the 7-in-one on Prime Day and I am seriously excited. It is my Christmas present, so I have to wait.
But, I am also wondering, because I bought the 6 quart one, if it will be too small to feed us all.
Do all of you have a 6 quart? Do you think it will fit enough to feed a family of 8?
I really didn't realize there was a larger one.
