Hmm, I think that might have been because of my privacy settings. Will have a twiddle and try again.

Thanks

Its neat I love the little drawings you put on the dividers, it makes it seem more personal I like your "things i've done" list, that might help me on days when i'm feeling like i've worked all day and got nothing done so i don't feel so defeated.

Looks good, I also like the "things i've done list" for those days when you didn't have a chance to sit down but also didn't get anything done from your "planned list".

I don't think this link has been shared yet. There are some simple but good printables on the website, I've also emailed the lady in the past and she was very open to suggestions / up for making new printables

meal planning - one thing that helps me is keeping a list of my recipe binder with a list of meals we (and by that I mean dh and me... and hopefully the kids, but you know that could change in 2 minutes!) like by protein category. I look over that as I'm meal planning. I'll also ask dh to tell me a meal or 2 he'ld like (jambalaya - every time!) and go from there. I also have in my binder a bunch of recipes I'ld like to try. I look through there also as time permits. i don't have theme nights, but I do try to make Wednesday either crock-pot or leftovers, because of our schedule, and I also plan a left-overs night after every 3-4 meals.

I have loved this thread! I am inspired to start a Household Notebook for us. I have one for the bills that need to be paid but think I will start one for everything else.

Now I just have to get through all the links

I have two questions for you Mummas, please.

Firstly, if you have your notebook on display (for example, in the kitchen), how do you stand it up? I don't have enough bench space to lie it flat and it won't stand up by itself....

And secondly, if you are using a template in a sheet protector and writing on the sheet protector (kind of like a white board) how do you get the sheet protector to stay nice and firm and not go all wrinkly with the writing and rubbing out?

Thanks!

Nat

Mine is in the kitchen, but i keep it closed until I need it. I'm still in the process of working on that part, if I want it open or shut.

You could get a cookbook stand... useful for cookbooks too

There are cheaper and MUCH more expensive ones on the market. I like the one I've linked because it protects my recipes books from food splatters

ETA: If you're going to write and wipe, why not pay a couple of $$ and get the sheets laminated?

I don't write on my sheet protectors, i get annoyed because it never seems to come off all the way.

I leave mine open, usually on the kitchen table or on the back of the couch. It doesn't really have a place. When i want it prepared for the morning its on the kitchen table, if i'm running around the house getting thigns done its on the back of the couch (but my apartment is tiny so they're both like 7 feet away from eachother, LOL)
