I need new snack ideas.
Things I grab often are: apples, nuts, bananas, corn chips, pretzels, pb sandwhich.
What do you take along for snacks/lunch?

My Dh takes a sack of snacks to work every day. It usually includes some combination of
Hard boiled eggs Cheese stick Yogurt Nut and dried fruit mix Granola Cut up raw veggies Fresh fruit Muffins or some other baked good that I made For lunch he usually takes dinner leftovers in a thermos.

Pemmican! Or beef jerky if your less adventurous.
I have a quart jar of elk and elderberry pemmican in the trunk of my car for emergency food. It is often just used as a snack instead. Are you looking for pack it and eat it today smacks? Or stow away for if you need it later snacks? For planned to eat that day snacks I am big on cheeses and veggies. Or if it can be a big messy yogurt with herbs and veggies. I also like hard boiled eggs and my kids inhale them. |

Baozi (stuffed steamed buns) has been our go to lately. I don't mind eating them cold so it works great for me.
We also cube summer sauce and cheese and sometimes add in wheat thins. Raw asparagus wrapped with lunch meat (I usually spread a little cream cheese but you don't have to) Trail mix We also have packaged snacks like taro rolls and snow crackers |
