Self done newborn photography

When we conceive again I plan on getting a birth photographer if at all possible.

But I'll not be able to afford newborn photography on top of that.

So where would I learn how to take some sweet newborn photographs on my own?

You might be able to get some newborn portraits with your birth photographer, at least mine got some nice shots.

If you are paying for birth photography negotiate for a newborn visit. Otherwise i would do it the other way around. Have a friend with an SLR there at the birth and pay for a newborn family shoot.

Sorry- I totally didn't realize this was a public forum because I just read stuff on the new threads page. Thanks for catching that- I didn't want pictures of my kids on public forums, of course.
