WanderingJuniper Rose Garden Join Date: Mar 2007 Posts: 10,819	Help me buy a new laptop I have been limping along an ancient laptop for at least three years. It was hand me down when I got it. Tech has changed a ton since the. And I am in over my head with options. I am a teacher who will be taking online classes and I dabble in photography. I prefer to be under $500. I don’t think hi I a Chromebook is right for me because of my photography hobby and while I use Drive everyday there are some things I do for work that don’t communicate well with google software. I like the idea of touchscreen as an option and the convertible pc/tablet style laptops so a I can use them for videos in my classroom but I am concerned about their durability near young children. Please, I am begging, help me.
