Let's talk about drinking water.
We use a Brita pitcher and I've been wondering if it was even worth it.
There was a brief time that I bought some gallon jugs of water. I found this online: http://www.greenamerica.org/livinggr...terfilters.cfm I only barely notice a taste difference. I should do a taste test again.

We use a Brita pitcher as well and everyone here loves it. Which reminds me, I gotta change the filter

Re: Let's talk about drinking water.
I have a stand-alone water filter here which takes out all the crud including fluoride. I couldn't taste the difference at first, but now when I drink unfiltered tap water it tastes foul! I have to clean the filter about once a month because there's so much gunk built up on it. I would LOVE a whole house filter but we're not there yet.

Re: Let's talk about drinking water.
I bought a $15 water tester from Amazon
My tap water comes close to the EPA limit (450). My reverse osmosis filter gets it down to 10. Bottled water I bought was 130 ( spring water) Taste matters to me too.

Re: Let's talk about drinking water.
I have water in the door of the fridge (like the ice and water dispenser door thing) and it's the only water besides Evian I've ever been able to tolerate the taste of.

Re: Let's talk about drinking water.
I use Britta. I think, for me anyway, it was like a withdrawal process to be able to drink water. I quit drinking other things and it was a good 2-3 weeks before I felt like I could drink water and not mind it.
