This resonates with me so very strongly. Of course I am heartbroken for the children who are the victims but it also breaks my heart that this sort of cruelty is put for as representative of our Savior. Lives have been lost, yes, but how many more souls are being lost because of this?

I have no friends who follow the Pearls approach,I doubt if any non GCM facebook friends/blog readers have ever heard of them, so I haven't been reposting any of this stuff, but I have been bookmarking it in case I ever need it!

Just curious...what is it about him or his church that makes you call him "conservative"? I actually feel he is just the opposite, so I'm curious.

Sorry--I labelled him that way since he is in the PCA denomination which is doctrinally conservative.

When held up side-by-side with the liberal world views or even views from the more liberal churches, Pearl would be considered conservative. But to most of us in a conservative denomination, Pearl is considered ultra conservative in his thoughts and religion. How far a person is to the left or right is determined what we deem to be middle road.
