toilet cleaning ??
How do you get those stains out that just won't come off with toilet cleaners?
They've been there since we bought the house. They're not hugely noticable but I can see them. |

Re: toilet cleaning ??
Are you talking about the water ring stains? You can get a pumice stone to scrub them out....just make sure to turn off the toilet water, flush, and then scrub. I hate doing it....YUCK!

I think they're ring stains...they're more like streaks.

Re: toilet cleaning ??
I've found them in the cleaner sections of stores (I wouldn't use the type that you'd use on your feet). Or you can find them usually at online catalogs like Harriet Carter (ya know the cheap weird old people type of junk shopping catalogs).

Re: toilet cleaning ??
I bought a pumice stone at BB&B for feet & it works just fine. And I never thought about turning off the water, I just clean the toilet first & then use a rubber glove on my hand. It makes a *sound* that might really bother you. It doesn't bother me, but I am rapidly losing my hearing so I am not sure I heard it as much as dh did & it really bothered him.
