Re: tempeh recipes please
Allright:
first and foremost, I LOVE to do this cut a block in quarters and then slice them lengthwise (horizontally), to make 8 thin, square pieces. Spray with oil, broil on both sides until crispy or grill (i use our electric what's his face... boxer dude grill... oh, Forman!) then smother in either honey mustard or Annies BBQ sauce and put in a sandwich! Then, there are these fabulous breakfast patties (compliments of Taste for Life) 1). one tsp dry sage, one tesp dry thyme 2 tsp dry oregano 1/2 tsp onion and garlic powder, each a bit of cayenne pepper 6 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp liquid smoke (but I use smoke salt from Spice House, natural) 2 tbsp maple syrup 2 tsp tomato paste 2). 8 oz. Tempeh 2 cups veg stock 3 tbsp soy sauce 1/3 c bread crumbs 1 tsp flaxseed meal oil for frying Directions: Pour 1/2 spice mis on tempeh plus stock and soy sauce and simmer in a pot for 15 min. Mash with the rest of the spice mix and bread crumbs. Form patties. Fry 3 min per side. (but i use low heat and fry a bit longer)

Re: tempeh recipes please
I slice it for bacon. Then marinate in half water, half braggs, tamari or soy sauce. You can add other things like your favorite seasonings or maple syrup. I haven't ruined a batch yet. I fry in a little oil and make sandwiches with avocado, mayo, lettuce, tomato etc.
I've never branched further than that with tempeh. I always mean to, but I can't get past those yummy sandwiches.
