No. I don't know what he was thinking.

I drive 4.5 miles back and forth so much! The middle school and high school are by each other so I drop off dd then go over and drop off ds. Same thing after school 3 days a week. Two days a week I pick up dd at 3:30 then go home to go back at 5:00 to pick up ds after ROTC drill team practice.

It's a lot of back and forth. Our downtown where I go to the library and farmer's market is 5-6 miles. We now go to storytime every Friday and I was going to the market on Saturday, but have been going Tuesday after I drop off kids at school since I am half way there.

Not sure. I guess "the law" mandates minimums for vehicles and cars and trucks are different.

I can see that fresh off the lot, but there's not a lot a manufacturer can do if I get low mileage 10 years and 3 owners later.

Me too!

I drive a 2011 Town & Country. On our long road trip recently we averaged 28 mpg. For our normal, day-to-day stuff I'm about 21.5 mpg.

Much better than my 2000 Grand Caravan that was about 19 or something.

I got gas again and forgot to write down the exact numbers.

It was about 324 miles I had gone on 18.something gallons. So about 18mpg city. I think that is okay for a 9.5 yr old van.

Kept my receipt today. I got 18.88 mpg city.
