Ugh, so gross! Now what?

This morning, I cleaned the garage. Such a mess. It is the kind that is attached to the house. We have had rodent problems on and off and put a rat bait trap in the area where they had been in the past. Well, today, I found rodent droppings on the other side of the garage. So, I moved everything. We have a bookshelf in there with gardening supplies and other stuff on it. I pulled it out and underneath it was all sorts of shredded mess that the rats had been living in.

I also found a squished dried rat or mouse (not sure how you tell the difference) underneath a bucket of tools.

So, I picked up some with a shovel, swept up the rest and then, I poured a little bit of the pet odor deodorizer liquid on the cement floor and scrubbed it around with the broom. I am not sure if that will do anything or not.

Should I go back and mop with bleach or something? Anyway, I was tired and did not do anything else other than toss a rat bait thing on the floor there and put the shelf back. I did throw a ton of things away. (Hopefully dh won't notice or miss the 6 year old bag of old fireworks that were disintigrating or any of the other junk I tossed). Also, there is a window in the garage and dh had left it open for ventelation in the summer, but one of the sprinkler heads broke or was pointed wrong and sprayed in. I noticed it and told him about it, but he did not fix it or close the window until I noticed a second time so I don't know how often that happened. The window sill is painted, but has black on it now - probably mold. I wiped it with a damp cloth, and it did not come off. Should that be treated with something anti-mold and then repainted or just sand and repaint or what? Any ideas?
