Tell me how you grill your salmon. Grilled salmon is one of our absolute staples around here -- every single one of us love it! And I have my tried and true systems, but always like to shake it up, so I wonder how other people grill theirs. Whether they put anything on it and what. If they use foil or another method to putting it on the grill. Etc.

Also, how do you prepare your brussel sprouts? It's one veggie that we really have not gotten a handle on. I've tried it a few times, I think just roasting, and the family wasn't super impressed.

DH is the grillmaster around here...so I honestly couldn't tell you how we do it! I don't even know how to work our grill I think he usually uses foil. And mostly just plain - garlic salt, that's about it. I like to put pesto on it at the table, or even cilantro pesto or Trader Joe's cilantro dressing. I also have a pineapple-soy sauce glaze I like. But that's a lot more work, and pesto is quick & easy (I make a bunch and freeze it in cubes), plus DH and the boys like the salmon plain.

Brussels sprouts: halved, tossed in a lot of butter (or bacon grease), salted and roasted at 400(?) for 35-40 min. Stir 'em up halfway through. I like to peel off a lot of the outer leaves, and roast those separately (shorter, if not lower temp) to make chips. I like the chips a whole lot better than the sprouts, TBH, but DH and DS2 could eat their weight in the sprouts. I've got other recipes, but that's the easiest and well-liked so I don't bother with anything fancy.

Funny thing is, we ended up not having either tonight ...DH had eaten leftover sprouts for lunch so he didn't want them for supper. We had lasagna soup (out of the freezer) - a favorite that everyone gobbled up.

We had garlic ginger chicken. It's another one of our faves around here and so super easy.

Carrots and onions roasted in the oven. Roasted potatoes. Zucchini and carrot "noodles" sauteed with grape tomoatoes.

Served with Michigan cranberry wine (for the adults of course ). Super super delicious.

So, when you say bbq chicken, do you mean chicken that was cooked on the bbq, or chicken that has bbq on it.

Genuine question. Because I"m not sure how people define that. And I'm curious.

Chopped chicken and chopped bell peppers, sauteed in olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dill pickle juice. BBQ sauce and rice mixed in after it's cooked

"BBQ chicken" can mean different things!

Tonight I am just putting it on a baking pan and baking for about 20 minutes. I'll sprinkle it with salt and pepper and serve with some lemon juice.
