what sort of a bandage do I need?
You know the cheese slicer part of a cheese grater? Well, I cut the bendy part of my index finger on it. It's pretty deep.
I can't figure out what kind of bandage to use. Generally I try to leave cuts open for the air to get to them, but I keep snagging this back open, creating a painful, bloody mess. I'm not making any progress with the healing. I wash my hands a hundred times a day, so it keeps getting wet through the bandaid. I tried using a kids' tatoo bandaid to keep the water out, but that didn't work either. Plus, I really think it needs air to heal. What to do?

Maybe put a bandaid on and use rubber gloves until you are done the water stuff and then take it off and let it air for the night.
