homemade laundry soap with glycerin soap?

I do that borax/washing soda/grated soap mixture for my laundry soap. Love it - but yesterday I picked up a bar of plain ol natural glycerin soap. Unscented and all that - can I use that for the soap? the ingredients are:
gylcerine,
saponified coconut, palm, and/or palm kernel,
vegetable (coconut/corn/sugar) derived surfactants,
corn derived humectants
sodium citrate

Yes, I've heard quite a few times in hippie communities about it. Glycerin is also a good degreaser. Glycerin soap is just a base to which people add EOs and colouring and herbs in soap-making to make fancy-looking homemade soaps!

(haven't tried myself though)

Forgive the derail...but I'm curious if your homemade detergent is safe for cloth diapers?

yes - i use it for cloth as well

I use about 1-2 T of the soap, and then the same amt of oxy clean

Hmm...interesting.

I shall consider trying this! I'm kind of addicted to my Rockin' Green Hard Rock. But I'm always up for saving $$.
