Re: Household notebooks
I'm taking the get-it-ready-by-Friday challenge and will take pics of whatever I have.
So far, I have a folder... on the computer... of docs and pdfs I've pulled from this thread for ideas. I plan on sitting down in the quiet of the evening and put something together. And Anita, your binder rocks! I'm serious that I think there's a market for this kind of individualized binder. Like on Etsy, kind of a 'themed' scrapbook binder. Just saying. |

Re: Household notebooks
Anita, can I ask what kind of info you have on your "child info sheet/s?"

Re: Household notebooks
It will be fun to see how different each binder turns out.
I have looked at some of the forms on different websites and they appeal to me in a way, but I don't know forms seem like work to me....you know everything filled out in triplicate with the pink copy and the canary copy... a little to segmented. So I worked on mine last night; all I have are lists Lists for what to do in the morning, lists for what to do at night, lists of foods we like to eat...there has to be a better way to organize this information I guess it does suit me, I've always been a list maker...love my lists

Re: Household notebooks
I Love all these ideas! I love to be organized. Although, I have found it is better if I just make notes daily to make my big lists smaller. It also helps my husband out too. There are so many awesome ideas on here!

Re: Household notebooks
Is there a way we can share our form/list ect. with eachother? I have a daily form I fill out each day that I am loving to use the night before to kind of prep my head for the next day. I would love to share it but have no idea how. Also many of you have mentioned your own forms or checklist ect. and I would love to get some more ideas from them. Let me know if there is someway to share word or pdf documents??? Thanks!

Re: Household notebooks
this is one I like http://www.realsimple.com/home-organ...0000000000953/
I have a trouble with schedules, where you have to do things at certain times, but routines i like better. First this, and then this. Just a certain order to do things in the morning/afternoon. Making sure the most important things are done first, not worrying about dusting or mopping if the dishes aren't done, you know? |

I've done it before...just can't remember how! That would be neat to have them all in one place, too. |

Re: Household notebooks
Anita, what a great idea for the kids' info. My dh could use it in his phone. Today he had to fill out some info and called me to verify birth dates.
