Have you used sugru?
http://sugru.com/gallery
I'd heard about it a while back but perusing their site today has pushed me to buy my first pack.

Oh my. That stuff looks FUN! Can you imagine making keychains with it? And if they can certify it as food grade, could you make your own chewlery?

Re: Have you used sugru?
Yes! My dh loves it! Of course my mind is going totally blank, but he's done a lot with it (I just can't remember what all he's done right now....).

Re: Have you used sugru?
He fixed the lid of a pot (the handle had fallen off) for a friend of mine once He used the Sugru to stick on a smooth river rock for a handle - it still works beautifully several years later!

Re: Have you used sugru?
Thanks Betsy! I'm thinking of fixing a crack on the dashboard of the minivan (people have said it works for this) as well as a small chip in the bottom of the microwave door handle.
Aside from those repairs the boys are excited about possibly custom molding their mp3 player earbuds and I'm excited about making hooks on the inside of a cabinet for pot lids. I've also ordered some neodymium magnets to cover in some sugru for the fridge.

Re: Have you used sugru?
Oops! Forgot to respond.
I finally got some and used a pack of white for a handle repair on the over the stove micro (it had a chipped piece of the bottom) and it's worked fabulously. I also took the leftovers and molded some to the bottom of the silicone piece on my earbuds (flipped up) then flipped the silicone down and fitted them to my ears for some custom molded buds. Love 'em. I promised the boys they could customize their earbuds too.
