Poor little guy at BK today....

DS and I went to Burger King for lunch today and we sat near the play area. There was a big glass window seperating the main eating area and the play area/eating area, so we sat by the window to watch the kids. One little boy, about 2-3 yrs. was playing in the play area. At one point he pushed some kid, so his mom told not to. As she was walking out, the dad told her he did it again, so they made him leave the play area. I was expecting a spank or something, but there was none(yay!!). Instead the dad made the boy sit on his lap and kept tellling him he couldn't play anymore b/c he had been naughty. Didn't tell him what he did wrong, just that he had been naughty and couldn't play anymore..

It was obvious to me that the kid had NO idea why he couldn't play anymore or what he had done wrong, so he just sat there screaming. I wanted soo much to go hug him and explain that it wasn't nice to push and talk to him about it.. Instead all he heard was 'no, you were naughty so you can't play anymore'..

Poor guy.........
