Gift ideas - Dancer with foot surgery
We have a dancer friend (teen) who will be having foot surgery next month. She'll be laid up in bed for a while afterwards, and our dance company is going to give her a goody basket. I need ideas please! Someone is already buying cozy jammies. Food treats aren't an option.
So I'm rather stumped!! Help please and thank you! Oh, I just had one idea. A silk pillowcase. That is very protective of hair and skin, and it's a luxury. Still would love more ideas!

My dd was on “minimal activity” for almost a month due to her spine injury and then got To start using a big exercise ball and nice arm bands. she progressed from there to gobs more equipment but depends on the specific surgery In her most restricted time she read, drew, listened to music, watched tv and movies and cried a lot honestly. As She was allowed to walk more her siblings took her to movies.

How about some dance-themed DVDs?

Re: Gift ideas - Dancer with foot surgery
I would reach out to get Mom and ask what she likes besides dance.
Consider things like: *Beginner knitting or crochet kit with some easy dance patterns, like leg warmers. *Books audio and paper. Maybe an Amazon egift card to get Kindle books, audiobooks, etc. Maybe a month of paid Kindle unlimited. *A bullet journal and some journaling supplies like washi tape, colored pens, etc. *Art supplies like table easle, paints (acrilic it most versitile for beginners, she can use them thin like water colors or heavier like oils), pastels, sketching pencils, etc and some multi media paper. *Origami kit *Hand sewing or hand embroidery *Girls night mother and daughter (add some for sisters if there are any) pamper kit, face mask, nice lotion, nail polish, temporary hair dye if parents aren't opposed. *Movie *book Puzzle games *Deck of cards and a book with lots of games, solitary and group. *Other games that would be easy to play in bed or on the couch. Such as card games. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
