HuggaBuggaMommy Administrator Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 12,271	so for ths first time in almost 7 years... ...we are kid free in our bedroom. Ds1 asked to move into the smallest bedroom, previously the guest room. He thought having less room and less stuff would help him control his mess. Both dd and ds2 saw ds1's empty room and decided they wanted to move in there (we had bunk beds in the master bedroom). The bunk beds couldn't fit in that room because of a sloped ceiling, so we took them apart and set them up as separate beds, and moved the guest room bed (sdd's, when she visits) in there as well. (There is plenty of room for even another twin bed...it's a large room, despite the sloped ceiling.) The littles are thrilled, and our bedroom looks like a calm, peaceful adult room for real. Ds2 came into bed with us last night at some point, which I expect will happen for awhile, but it's so nice to have our own room again. __________________ Christa Oldest, 22 Middlest, 13 Youngest, 10
