Re: October Dinners
I haven't been posting because September was busy and you can only read me saying: pasta this and pasta that, and tacos or burritos, frozen pizza with salad, sandwiches etc so many times. lol! I commit to better meal planning for October. Making a grocery list and will go right after work and it starts again tonight!

Re: October Dinners
And I am going to start yesterday I mean TODAY I Am starting today.
I didnt go grocery right from work, I went AFTER I dropped off dd and then the grocery shopping took "forever" and then home and tired dinner was canned soup and pretzel bread sandwiches. Today though - today I am making a new recipe spicy salmon bowls except for ds, I got him a little steak and his will be a spicy steak bowl. Itll be la late unch bc ds has a 5pm game. And then dinner will be salads since itll be late. They can put leftover salmon or steak on the salad if wanted.

Garlic Pork Loin Roast and roasted Acorn Squash. It's definitely feeling like Fall. I should make an apple crisp. Or apple cider Whoopie Pies. Or Pumpkin Biscotti.

Re: October Dinners
I tonight was pork chops with kind of a stroganoff sauce on egg noodles. I vaugly started with this recipe https://aprettylifeinthesuburbs.com/...ed-pork-chops/
Both girls actually ate the noodles, which I thought were amazing but didn't expect them to like. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Re: October Dinners
Loaded baked potatoes for lunch.
Took the extra ground beef (before I cooked it) and made patties so will do burgers (or veggie burgers) this week. Will use the extra potatoes to make mashed potatoes for dc snacks. Plan to make falafal balls and hard boiled eggs today for salads or snacks during the week too. eta: done done done.

Last two nights we had panang curry. Before that was lasagna. I work Monday and Tuesday evening, so I'm off dinner duty. I need to plan for Wed-Sun though. Thursday night my oldest is having friends over for a bonfire so that's covered. Things we can cook on a fire. No clean up! |

Re: October Dinners
Quesadilla with side salad or leftovers depending on if practices/my bike ride are canceled (possible weather) and then the opposite tomorrow night.
