Re: HFCS-Free Product List
Organic Heinz ketchup
and the jar of Nutella I bought for dd (for Christmas ) had no HFCS listed in the ingredients to my shock and amazement. Just sugar. Wonder if they changed the formula? |

Re: HFCS-Free Product List
I hear that if you buy a coca-cola in mexico, it's made with sugar instead of HFCS. I like Jones sodas though.

Re: HFCS-Free Product List
I'm not sure if these items would normally have HFCS in them, but here are a few from my kitchen that are HFCS-free.
- Trader Joe's Italian Style Salad Dressing - Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil - Earth Balance Cream Cheese Spread - Trader Joe's Cream Cheese - Newman's Own Ranch Dressing - Brown Cow Vanilla Cream Top Yogurt - Trader Joe's Golden Entertainers Crackers

Re: HFCS-Free Product List
I remember Dr. Oz on Oprah cleaned out someone's pantry and told her she had chosen the only pb brand with HFCS; it was Peter Pan btw. I just checked my super-cheapo store-brand peanut butter and it lists sugar as an ingredient-not HFCS.
Mexican cokes are made with sugar. If you live in TX it's actually become pretty easy to get Dr. Pepper made with sugar. There was a bottling company that never switched over to HFCS and I guess it got so popular that some of the other bottling companies are taking note. |

Re: HFCS-Free Product List
the way I understand the organic labeling is that anything with the USDA organic certification "stamp" cannot contain HFCS. ANything labeled "made with organic products" or that isn't 100% organic can contain it Honestly, you HAVE to look for the stamp because you are allowed to label things different ways. . here's a link -- I think it's current - I remember when the changes occured. . . my buying club was big on educating all it's members. . . . so hopefully they would have told me if it had changed again http://www.theorganicreport.com/page...nic_labels.cfm
WHat I'd like to know is all the names of High Fructose Corn syrup?? Coke 2 - liters with yellow caps are supposed to be HFCS free and you can get mexican soda at grocery stores here without HFCS Country Hearth bread is HFCS free All trader joe's products are supposed to be HFCS free I am trying to think of what else we use that is a brand as we are HFCS free except for an occasional treat

Re: HFCS-Free Product List
Make sure and check the labels even on Mexican Coke. I found some at a Mexican market in CO last summer and was so psyched---then I read the label and it actually listed HFCS! :/ Maybe some places are switching over because it's cheaper?!?
There is a powdered form of HFCS now. I don't remember the name of it, but will see if I can do a search and find the name of it. I think the name is "crystalline fructose" Here is a link to a blog/site about it(link broken as I don't know what else they have on there): http://redtext.little rabbit.com/?p=481=1
