I love 5 minute bread!
I just got this book, after doing the recipe posted here for weeks. It is fantastic. I still feel like I'm cheating by not kneading, but my family loves the fresh, homemade bread, and I get to feel like suzie homemaker pulling it out of the oven. If anyone is on the fence about trying this, you really must! I was a failure at yeast breads, but this is foolproof!

Re: I love 5 minute bread!
Alllllllllllmost foolproof. Do not - repeat: do NOT - leave off a cup of flour. It won't bake thru, no matter what you do.
But other than that, yes, I'm in love with this method. I've got my third batch of dough in the fridge now.

Re: I love 5 minute bread!
Ha! I suppose that might make things difficult. I have to talk to myself to count cups of flour.

Re: I love 5 minute bread!
There is a recipe posted on here somewhere? Can someone post the link?

Re: I love 5 minute bread!
We love this bread. I did the cheddar cheese version this week. I ate an entire loaf myself today.

Re: I love 5 minute bread!
So - is it worthwhile getting the book? I've had it in my wishlist at the online bookstore for months now but would love input. Does it offer a lot apart from the basic recipe?

Re: I love 5 minute bread!
I have it from the library. I would love my own copy. There are many variations and ideas for how to use it. I could easily (if I had room) have 2 or 3 kinds of bread going in my fridge.

I just mixed up my first batch of boule dough and I'm really excited to bake some for dinner later!
