Kombucha flavour? And how do you make it?

I just got a Kombucha scoby. My dh does not like water kefir and I'm hoping I can get him to drink this.

Give me your best flavour please.

I just added flavour to my first batched today. I grated about 3" of ginger and added a cup of peach juice to my gallon jar. We'll see how it turns out.

I didn't usually flavor it when I made it, but when I did I used ginger or frozen blackberries. Or both.

- Apple with cinnamon added right before drinking (We used to put the cinnamon in with the apple, but unless it wasn't mixed in and just stayed on top, it seemed to kind of dull or kill the ktea maybe?)
- Blueberry ginger (I love the storebought, but we haven't gotten homemade to taste the same)
- Strawberry (similar note to Blueberry Ginger above)

Seems like we've done so many, but those are my favs. DH likes orange or orange mixed with something, but I don't.

My current batch has pineapple juice in it for the second ferment (because that's what I had around) and I really love it!
