Re: Ugh the coffee is doing it again
I'm thinking easy-to-find grocery brands here...
Do they sell Tetley Bold down there? I drink my coffee black most of the time and I like Tetley Bold (black tea). It doesn't taste like flavoured water, like most other teas (to my palate). |

There was another brand....Tazo that has a black tea called Awake that is good too. Just looked it up and it's Assam tea also(with other tea added). No wonder I like it. Description from the site above: Quote:

Re: Ugh the coffee is doing it again
Oh I know all about good tea
I had chai today with some hemp milk. Took awhile to wake up. But, it will have to do. I think I will save one cup of coffee for once a week. Maybe a Saturday treat I went without for over a year.

Re: Ugh the coffee is doing it again
It's sad though. It was for me. I got so used to drinking my morning coffee and I think I enjoyed the routine of it maybe even more than the coffee itself. Then my stomach was bloating, I felt icky and had headaches. I had to cut it out for awhile and it just stinks when you enjoy it so much. I hated teas but learned to like them. Now I'm drinking more lately but will probably have to cut back again soon. And for some reason, when I get something at Starbucks it doesn't bother me like if I make it at home.

Re: Ugh the coffee is doing it again
Have you tried brewing it through a Chemex filter? It filters out all of the oil and I don't think it's as acidic. cold brewing cuts the acidicness as well.

Re: Ugh the coffee is doing it again
I just want to say, I think someone is praying for me. I am doing quite well. I have been sleeping better, so maybe that is helping cancel things out. Of course, the sun is coming back, too
