Katie -Look at you go

I got rid on one huge vacum cleaner box that DS turned into a robot and befriended.Before christmas he went into the airing cuboard and he hasnt been asked out to play so it was safe for him to go

8 various pantry items that weren't feelin the love at our house given away to new homes

1 tuperware container that I don't use given away
1 ring box either giving away or off to Goodwill
1 face lotion that I don't like given away

I spent about 90 minutes sweeping, tidying and throwing away trash in our basement/garage today

so...

119+
1 broken rake
1 pair muddy shoes I no longer need
3 broken outdoor toys
and a bag of trash; I'm going to count it as 20 things since I had to pick up each filthy thing

to put it in the bag

New total: 144

about 10 more things into the trash when I was in the basement again on Saturday

I pulled out two boxes of books (Bibles, fiction & non-fiction) plus one box of AD&D junk of DH's from when he was younger (mid-90's) that we packed THREE YEARS AGO - and I dated it on purpose

- so now he said we CAN get rid of it

So next time I get down there, probably on Tuesday afternoon, I'll go thru those boxes & hopefully have more to add to my total

I spent some time in the garage today to make a path

. I threw out four bags of trash (large items, so it isn't as bad as it sounds), some boxes & other assorted items.
