Re: January dinners :)
Last night was homemade pizza. It was our best ever.
Tonight is Stouffer's mac and cheese. I'm exhausted. Two nights of very little sleep. Last night I was up late making Turkish Delight. My kitchen smelled amazing--lemons and roses. It tastes good but you can only eat a tiny piece. Rest is going in the trash. Fun activity, though. |

Re: January dinners :)
I used a binder divided into sections with page protectors. That way I can take the recipe out of the binder.

Re: January dinners :)
I made sesame soba, with scallions, edamame, and Napa cabbage, and tofu in peanut sauce. Once again the jerks I created with my own body refused to eat it . Tomorrow is blueberry pancakes though, I try to only do one in five or six that they'll likely not be fans of.

Re: January dinners :)
I have 3 binders. Problem is, I take them out and then they don't get put back. Now they are in a stack waiting to be organized & bound again.

Re: January dinners :)
I leave the binder out and open to where I need to put the recipe back. I take the recipe out so I can just carry the one page around. If you know you won't put it back, then just leave the binder open on the counter.

Re: January dinners :)
Tonight I made penne pasta with Italian sausage, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and fresh mozzarella. It was yummy. Another PlateJoy recipe.

Re: January dinners :)
Knitlove, chicken soup sounds like just what you need. I hope you are on the mend soon.
We've got ballet tonight, so dinner is in the crock pot - ranch chicken that I'll probably shred into zucchini boats or over some other sort of veggie when we get home.
