How do I permanantly delete my facebook?

I suspended it while I thought it out, and now I'm ready to delete it entirely. I know that they don't advertise it well, but I was hoping someone on here would be able to instruct me?

FWIW I deleted mine last February, but somebody told me I still show up on some things

Google the exact phrase "how to permanently delete my facebook profile." I would link it for you but I'm on a mobile device.

It will deactivated for 14 days and if you don't reactivate it before 14 days is up, it will permanently delete your account.

You have to be sure to approach it from the permanent stand point... if you just go to the easy accessible "deactivate account" link, it will never be permanently deleted.
