NYAARGH! Cake fallen in the center.
I made the Devil's Food Cake Cockaigne from The Joy for the second time ever just now. It looks like cake, not pudding, and it's definitely done--tester coming out clean, cake just pulling away from the sides of the 9x13 pan. HOWEVER, the center is visibly lower than the sides. Can I just cool it, frost it, and call it done, or do I have to start again?

Re: NYAARGH! Cake fallen in the center.
I thought part of the purpose of frosting was to make the cake look level
if you don't want it- I'll eat it
