Re: SO what is for dinner?
It's raining...so comfort food is in order...
I've been craving Marielle's picadillo and rice...so I think that is what we'll have. It will be hard to restrict my portion to a normal sized one. This stuff is soooo good! |

Re: SO what is for dinner?
For cooked broccoli, the way my family likes it best is to put it in a casserole dish, sprinkle it with olive oil, parm cheese, and garlic and bake it.

Re: SO what is for dinner?
Broccoli is so good, we rarely ever do anything but cook it to tender-crisp.

Re: SO what is for dinner?
Sorry, didn't see this til just now.
I take a can of chili peppers in adobo sauce and run it through the food processor til it's pretty pasty. I mix in about a cup of sour cream, a couple table spoons of mayonnaise and enough salt to make it taste right. (It's all very scientific, you see. ) It makes a huge vat and is so, so very delicious. |

ETA: Oh yeah, we're having leftover (yucky) minestrone tonight because Erin asked to have it again. Weird kid. I'm going to message DH and ask him to bring home sourdough bread or something to make it all better. |
