Whatcha munchin' in September?
Today was roasted carrots and potatoes (from our garden) for dinner. Homemade refried beans for lunch, with pita chips. And fresh, local peaches.

Spicy Sichuan noodles for lunch.
Leftover from our moon festival celebration. And maybe leftover fried rice too.

Re: Whatcha munchin' in September?
I veganized an apple pie poke cake recipe from pinterest. It was very yummy.
Also the peaches from our tree are ripe. It's a small tree so we got about 12 peaches this year, but they were yummy! Next year will be a bigger harvest- it does big harvests every other year.

Re: Whatcha munchin' in September?
We had pierogies (homemade) for lunch yesterday which everyone loves and sesame noodles with broccoli for dinner. That was liked by some but not all. Today's lunch will probably be corn fritters and dinner will be homemade bean burgers.

Re: Whatcha munchin' in September?
We've eaten more meat this month so far than we usually do in a whole month. Hence my lack of replying.
However, last night we had tomato soup and grilled cheese. For lunch I'm having fan baked potato with kimchi topped with hemp hearts and dinner is a pesto pasta dish with the last fresh veggies from our garden (eggplant & banan peppers) and some kale from a CSA. |

Re: Whatcha munchin' in September?
Summer Black Bean Chili tonight!
Almond butter on bananas for lunch. I only like my bananas just before ripe (still with a greenish tinge on the skin) so tomorrow I won't eat them.
