Default Meet my new bunny Basil!

I'm a couple of weeks late in posting this, but here he is! He's 2 years old, English Angora, and is very sweet and playful! He loves running all over the house, especially the couch. You can see him here with Midnight. I think she and my other two cats are rather scared of him since my last two rabbits were half his size. Lol! He's a wonderful bunny, though! No such thing as too much fluff!

Oh, how sweet. I had an EA once. Love them. I love his color, too.

Thank you! Getting used to all the grooming will be fun, but hopefully worth it. I'm thinking of getting him trained to be a therapy bunny for nursing home residents, schools, etc.

Can you litter train rabbits? I had a friend who had an EA that they rescued, but I can't remember if it was litter trained.

Oh I mean to say, so so cute!!!!! I really want an angora rabbit, I think it would be cool to spin their fur into yarn.

Yes, you can litter train them! This one is partially trained, but I'm told it will be easier once he's fixed. I'm keeping him in a 4x4 x-pen with his food, water, toys and smaller cage that he's using for a litter box. When I let him out to run around, he is very clean.

And yes, I've wanted to learn to spin the fur, too! I think that would be so fun!

DD is home sick today. She has an awful flu. Your bunny is the first thing that's made her smile all day. Thanks for sharing.

AWW! I had a rabbit as a kid but no where near as cute as Basil! Mine was a "meat" rabbit so it got to be huge and wasn't fun to hold when it was bigger.

Basil is pretty big, as you can see from the pictures, although most of that is just fluff. I don't hold him as much as I probably should, but he loves being petted!
